In this section, we will see how we support the attributes handle in the hierarchical mapping for XML payload.
We need to save the attribute mapping to the imapping record. To be able to distinguish that the field is an attribute field we can put as source name as a prefix the element name concatenate with the sign ‘@’ e.g. ID@accountingEntity or ID@location.
Attribute make only sense when we import XML data. The attribute we don’t have when we use the data format JSON.
How we can use it:- #
Pre-Requisite:-
- Create Integration.
- Create Interface.
- Create Metadata Provider.
- Create XML Adapter.
- While creating istructure we need to select attribute as shown in the picture given below:-
- Add metadata provider, Repository and message type.
- Please check mapping here element name is concatenated with the sign ‘@’.
- Add XML Adapter, as shown in the picture given below:-
- Open agent and do configuration as shown below:-
- Test integrate and process and then save it. As shown below.
